Raymond V. Welling, the co-founder of Welling Homes, had been in the building business since 1950. In 1971 Ray and his brother-in-law Warren Fisher formed Welling Homes.

In 1986 Welling Homes was incorporated to become Welling Construction, Inc. when Gary L. Welling Sr. assumed the position of president.Gary's wife Pam has been active in the business since that time as well. Their sons Sean and Gary Jr. joined the company in 2000 and 2001, respectively. Welling Construction is proud of the fact that many employees and sub-contradtors have worked with the company for over 25 years.
